我們這一班~十年級

 

Dear parents of class 10,

 

    We have started the physics main lesson.

 

    The question about the shape of the earth we did not continue to investigate. I felt, students are not so much connected to this question anymore. Therefore I let the students find their own question by reading scientists’ biographies.

 

    We are now in the situation that students have found a question and an experiment to investigate their question.

 

    In the following two weeks students will share their individual investigations with their classmates in a presentation and demonstration.

 

    This way we will learn about gravity, spring expansion, density, air pressure, inertia, elastic collision, energy conservation and conversion, resonance, earth rotation and planet motion. Of course these will be short views into all these topics.

 

    More important than to learn every topic, however, is to follow a question and try to answer it by a scientific experiment. In this physics main lesson, we try to combine both.

親愛的10年級家長:

 

    我們已經開始了物理課。

   

    我們沒有繼續調查有關地球形狀的問題。我覺得,學生與這個問題的聯繫不再那麼緊密了。因此,我讓學生們閱讀科學家的傳記來找到他們自己的問題。

 

    現在,我們的情況是學生找到了一個問題,並進行了實驗以調查他們的問題。

 

    在接下來的兩個星期中,學生將通過演示和示範與同學分享他們的個人調查。

 

    這樣,我們將了解重力,彈簧膨脹,密度,氣壓,慣性,彈性碰撞,能量守恆和轉換,共振,地球自轉和行星運動。當然,這些只是對所有這些主題的簡短概述。

 

    但是,比學習每個主題更重要的是遵循一個問題並嘗試通過科學實驗來回答它。在本物理學的主要課程中,我們嘗試將兩者結合起來。
